Dengue Fever


It’s really a matter of concern that serious diseases Dengue fever has been breaking out in our world. It is said that there is no good treatment for Dengue fever. We know that the Aedes mosquitoes are the carriers of Dengue virus. There mosquitoes are slightly bigger than the regular mosquitoes. They are black and have white spots on their bodies. Seriously affected dengue patients have and red rash on their bodies and have internal hemorrhage.  It has been reported that by now more than two hundred people have met death by dengue. It is high time e raised a campaign against the Aedes.

People addicted to smoking find it difficult to give up this harmful habit. All know that smoking injurious to health. But those who smoke are not concerned with their health. They do not abstain from smoking. Doctors feel every smoker should give up smoking


 Many of them suffer from various diseases including cancer which takes a heavy toll of lives every year. A cure for this deadly disease has not yet been found smoking irritates eyes and offends the nose. Drugs have a terrible effect on social life. It carries the addicts to an unreal world of dreams.

 This is called hallucination. And this hallucination gives rise to social crimes. When the addicts cannot afford to purchase drugs, they commit various kinds of social crimes.

Physical Exercise

Physical exercise means a regular movement of our limps. It is a sort of strenuous physical activity designed to keep us fit.
Good health is one of the greatest blessings of life. Even the wealthiest person without good health suffers a very miserable life. But good health does not mean the absence of diseases. A strong muscular body without a sound mind can never be an index of good health. It is regular physical exercise which makes us physically strong and mentally sound.




Physical exercise may take different forms. Walking, swimming, running and riding are good physical exercise. A person should choose such exercise as suit him most. On the other hand, games like football, volleyball, cricket, hockey and hadudu are organized group activity needing stamina and maximum Physical exertion. Gymnastics for the young and jogging for the aged people are Physical exercise taken individually.
Physical training or drill develops the qualities of agility, speed mental co-ordination and endurance whereas the games and sports develop the spirit of team-work, fellow-feeling and group loyalty to the highest degree.
Physical Exercise should be taken regularly. Irregular or excessive exercise may be injurious to health. On the other hand, exercises or all sports of Physical activities should be selected according to one’s age and ability. In a world, regular physical exercise not only improves our health but also makes us smart, Active, graceful and emotionally balanced.

How to keep in good Health?

My younger brother name Rubel. He reads in class seven. He is quite lazy fellow. He does not try to keep in good health. On the other hand, he is also a dull boy at school. We are all worried about him. First, I called him and told him how to keep in good health. Then, he listened to me very attentively and promised me to follow all the rules of health strictly. Next, I told him to work out a daily schedule which he must carry out properly and at the right moment.


After that, he was advised to do all sorts of physical exertions like swimming, walking, running, traveling etc. and take physical exercise every early in the morning. In the afternoon, he should play games. He should also be very attentive to his teachers and prepare his lessons regularly. He should also eat the right kind of food at the right time. Finally, I advised him never to sit idle at the leisure time. He must try to find out something to do and develop his interest in many useful activities. He should keep it mind that without good health even a rich or a wise man leads a very miserable life. I also made him understand that good health does not mean absence of diseases. Good health practically means a sound mind in a sound body.

Sports are a popular form of entertainment. Many international sporting   events are organized from time. Most of these events are sponsored by multinational manufacturing companies and business firms. They pay for the sports events in exchange for the right to advertise their products during those events.


These events are telecast worldwide by satellite and people all over the world watch them live. As a result, the sponsors’ products receive maximum media coverage thus giving companies international recognition. This is only the commercial aspect of international sport but there are other aspects too. The sports venue becomes a meeting place of people from different countries. When people of different nation get together on the occasion of international sporting events, they come closer to each other, sharing views, opinions and friendship.



This opportunity creates a sense of brotherhood and a spirit of mutual co-operation among them. Moreover, getting acquainted with different cultures helps break down prejudice and broaden outlook. If globalization has anything to do with the development of international relationship, then sports can certainly contribute in a big way to this.
